Executive Chef

Chef Bradford Phillips has a love for food in his veins. From the very start of his career as a budding chef with a degree from Kendall College's esteemed Culinary Arts program, he's found a way to be true to his cooking style while also bringing the vision to life. In 2002, Phillips became the Executive Sous Chef at The Pump Room at the old Ambassador East, a former haunt of celebrities like Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe, where he led operations, later returning some eight years later as Executive Chef when the property was re-envisioned under hotelier, Ian Schrager and renowned Chef Jean George Vongerichten. From there, Phillips furthered his culinary experience while at NoMI at the Park Hyatt Chicago where he focused on French-inspired food and ran a kitchen with "nearly 30 cooks with multiple outlets and 24 hours of operation," which greatly strengthened his management and communication skills. Following this stint, he shifted into the role of Executive Chef at LM Bistro, a 60-seat gastro bistro, where he truly put his signature on the menu by creating all menu concepts and dishes, and later served as the opening Executive Chef and Partner for a handful of other LM Restaurant Group culinary concepts. In his current role as Executive Chef for Found Kitchen & Social House, Phillips is proud to bring his extensive culinary background and passion for beautiful products and ingredients to a restaurant evolving into its next phase. “I respect what Found has established in the community: partnerships with farmers and artisanal producers, closeness with performing arts and outreach programs and a nurturing environment for the staff,” says Phillips. “In a strange sense of the word, I feel as though I’m going ‘home’ in a professional and personal way.”
